Višegrad: Monograph “The Wealth of the Serb People” presented

The monograph “The Wealth of the Serb People” by Zdravko Močević was presented at the “Ivo Andrić” Cultural Center in Višegrad.

Described as an encyclopedia of the finest achievements of the Serb people, the monograph covers seventeen thematic sections across more than 500 pages, spanning the period from the Middle Ages to the modern era.

“Books like this should play an enlightening role for younger generations — so they know who they are, where they come from, and what they must preserve as part of our people’s achievements across various fields,” said Danilo Basta, academic of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU).

Editor Dr. Slobodan Janković emphasized that the publication provides answers about the place of the Serb people within the broader world cultural heritage.

“All those who left their mark — both at home and abroad — devoted their work to the people. They didn’t create only for themselves, but developed their talents and passed them on to future generations,” said Janković.

The monograph was authored by 22 experts from different disciplines and published by the “Peace of God” Foundation (Fondacija Mir Božiji).
