The Intermunicipal Organization of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Foča, Čajniče, and Kalinovik will host a poetry evening titled “Let the Light Defeat the Darkness” on Thursday, October 16.
The event will be held to mark the International White Cane Day, aiming to raise public awareness about the position and needs of people with visual impairments while promoting culture and artistic creativity within the community.
The program will feature poets Jovica Mijatović and Sara Ašonja from East Sarajevo, as well as Jelena Jeremić, Branimir Bato Radović, and Petar Aškraba Zagorski from Foča.
The poetry evening begins at 7:00 PM in the reading room of the Foča Center for Culture and Information. Organizers invite all poetry and art enthusiasts to attend this inspiring event and support people with visual impairments under the motto — “Let the Light Defeat the Darkness.”
