Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) carried out searches today in Bihać on three locations, acting on the orders of the Municipal Court in Bihać and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton. During the operation, items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings were discovered and temporarily seized.
According to SIPA, three individuals were arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of inciting national, racial, and religious hatred, discord, or intolerance, as defined by the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH.
One of the arrested individuals is Adil Ćenanović, who was previously reported to the authorities for harassing a Serb family in Bihać.
After criminal processing and questioning, the suspects will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton for further proceedings.
The operation was conducted in cooperation with officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton, SIPA said in its statement.
