“I am horrified by the news of the attack on Jews in Manchester,” Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated on the social network X.
Dodik said this is a stark reminder that one cannot turn a blind eye to anti-Jewish propaganda.
“Unfortunately, in today’s Europe, there are fewer and fewer places where it is easy to be Jewish. When, in the heart of Europe—in Sarajevo—European rabbis are banned from holding a conference, it is not just a local incident, but a signal of support for anti-Jewish extremism worldwide. Silence and the lack of reaction to such events only encourage extremists to commit these horrific crimes. Serbs and Jews know well what suffering means, and that is why our friendship will always remain a symbol of resistance to hatred and intolerance,” Dodik stressed.
