Islamist harassment Bihać report was filed against Adil Ćenanović after he harassed a Serb family with threats and religious slogans.
The Prosecutor’s Office told BIRN that the case is currently in the stage of verifying the allegations and that, at this moment, it is not possible to speak about the legal qualification of the criminal offense.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Una-Sana Canton stated that a criminal investigation was conducted against Ćenanović and that the report was then forwarded to the competent prosecution.
Islamist Adil Ćenanović harassed a Serb family in Bihać for playing the song “Veseli se srpski rode” (“Rejoice, Serb people”), shouting in front of their house: “Takbir – Allahu Akbar.”
He published the incident on social media, also issuing threats that he recorded and shared online.
“Takbir! Allahu Akbar! Let’s see who dares to turn it off,” said Ćenanović, who was wearing a headband with an Arabic inscription.
