The European Volleyball Federation, through a project carried out in cooperation with the volleyball federations of BiH and Republika Srpska, has donated sports equipment to 15 schools in the Banja Luka and Prijedor regions.
The donation was presented to school representatives in the Gradiška “Arena” by Slaviša Kuzmanović, competition director of the Volleyball Federation of Republika Srpska and coordinator of the Small Olympic Games.

Kuzmanović stated that each school received 10 volleyballs and post straps, emphasizing that the goal of the project is to promote and develop volleyball in Srpska and BiH.
Physical education teacher Željko Đuza from the “Danilo Borković” elementary school in Gradiška, as well as his colleague Radomir Dalmacija from the “Sveti Sava” elementary school in Novi Grad, thanked the donors and highlighted that the donation is very important since most schools lack sports equipment, making it difficult to conduct quality classes without enough balls.
Among the 15 schools that received donations were two elementary schools from Gradiška, “Danilo Borković” and “Petar Kočić” from Nova Topola, as well as the Gradiška Gymnasium.
