“Of course, the Presidency will not dismiss General Knežević. There is not a single reason for that. Helez cannot cut off military cooperation with anyone, especially not with Serbia,” said the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, on Instagram.
Cvijanović stated that Sarajevo would be better off if it stopped spreading anti-Serb hysteria and undermining relations in BiH and with neighboring countries.
“If you don’t respect others, don’t expect anyone to respect you. As for General Knežević, he has always been and remains up to the task – a man who performs his duty professionally and responsibly. That is clear. He showed respect for Serbia’s anthem, as is fitting for a professional,” Cvijanović emphasized.
She stressed that the anthem Bože pravde is the anthem of every Serb.
“To overheated Sarajevo and Bosniak politics, I say this: Bože pravde is the anthem of every Serb, no matter where they live or what they do. It is a matter of identity, and only those who lack their own identity, or who wander trying to find it, lash out at someone else’s identity and tradition,” Cvijanović concluded.

Federal media previously reported on the presence of BiH Armed Forces officer Gojko Knežević at yesterday’s military parade in Belgrade, suggesting that Defense Minister Zukan Helez might seek his dismissal.
