The cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow is at an exceptional level and will continue to develop in the coming period through the exchange of experiences and the organization of various specialist training programs for police officers – this was concluded at the meeting between the Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir and the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow, Oleg Anatolyevich Boranov.
The leadership of the Main Directorate welcomed Minister Budimir on the occasion of his first official visit to their headquarters with the performance of the anthems of Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation. The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Srpska, which included the Director of Police of Republika Srpska Siniša Kostrešević, was presented with the equipment, vehicles, and weapons used by members of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow.
In addition to organizing training aimed at improving knowledge in combating various forms of crime, forensics, high-tech crime, and canine training, the possibility of education for members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Srpska at higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Russian Federation was also discussed.
Minister Budimir invited Chief Boranov and his associates to visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and Banja Luka.
