The “Modriča Economic Fair 2025” opened today in Modriča, featuring around 200 businesses and organizations from Republika Srpska, the Federation of BiH, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, and China.
The two-day event, which has been organized in Modriča since 2010, was opened by the head of the municipality, Jovica Radulović, who expressed satisfaction with the number of exhibitors and the diverse offerings of businesses, small entrepreneurs, farmers, and representatives of the tourism sector.
“The fair is the most important traditional event in Modriča, which records an increase in the number of exhibitors year after year,” Radulović said at the opening ceremony held in the hall of the Modriča Cultural and Sports Center, according to RTRS.
Radulović emphasized that one of the goals of the fair is to connect businesses, business associations, and chambers of commerce in order to exchange new technologies and knowledge, as well as to present new products and services.
Snežana Vujić, director of the Modriča Development Agency, pointed out that the fair this year, as in previous years, has been supported by Modriča’s local businesses, entrepreneurs, and agricultural producers.
“On 1,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, today and tomorrow products from the food, chemical, wood, metal, agricultural, leather, textile, and automotive industries will be on display, along with service providers in healthcare, information technology, communications, and finance,” Vujić said.
