Dodik: BiH under occupation and Brussels calls it democracy

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated today in Budapest that Bosnia and Herzegovina is under occupation, with a private foreign individual imposing regulations.

“After Hitler, in 300 years of democratic Europe, no individual has imposed laws—only Hitler and Schmidt. Both are Germans, and both are backed by some public structure. Behind Schmidt stands a significant bureaucracy from Brussels, and this individual enacts regulations and declares them laws,” Dodik said.

He reminded that during Adolf Hitler’s time, Muslims in BiH were on the same side.

“During Hitler’s time and today, Muslims stood on the same side—with Hitler and with Schmidt. History seems to repeat itself. When he issues a regulation, he creates an extra-constitutional court, which is direct international interference in the constitutional order. Then they impose that court and demand respect for its rulings, where Muslims sit in judgment over Serbs. I was judged by five Muslim judges. One could not expect fairness or respect for law and the Constitution—that was the political will of Muslims in Sarajevo,” Dodik stressed.

He also recalled attempts to issue an Interpol warrant against him, which Interpol itself refused to do.

“If someone were to be a High Representative, he would have to be elected by: Republika Srpska, the Federation of BiH, Serbia, Croatia, and the joint level. Only then would the UN Security Council confirm the appointment. Schmidt has neither. He was promoted by the Biden administration,” Dodik said.

He emphasized that EUFOR forces have been present for 30 years, always functioning to enforce what one individual dictates, asking what else that could be but occupation.

“Muslims demand the arrest of Milorad Dodik and some other Serbs. EUFOR did not dare to do it but demonstrated their presence through constant parading and shows of force. Whenever Muslims demand it, they increase their presence. What is that if not occupation?” Dodik said.

He added that Brussels considers this democracy, pointing out that BiH was granted candidate status only because Ukraine had received it earlier.

“Do you know that the international community created the Central Bank of BiH and still controls it? BiH is the only country with surplus foreign currency reserves serving as coverage for money issuance. We have 500 million euros in reserves and could issue a billion convertible marks, but they do not allow us. That is occupation. They say we must remain tied to Europe. Yet Merkel herself said that Germany is in structural crisis—a problem not solved in one mandate. So this is occupation,” Dodik underlined.

The President of Republika Srpska stressed that the fight in Srpska is for freedom, adding that Europe has no leaders and has lost its competitive strength.

“It has lost the ability to fight. Why should we surrender our sovereignty to something as uncertain as the fate of today’s Europe?” Dodik concluded.
