The president of the Association Creators of Republika Srpska, Stevan Medić, said that it is necessary to organize a referendum as soon as possible, where the citizens of Republika Srpska would express their support for the institutions of Srpska and oppose the imposed decisions of foreigners, which desecrate democracy in Republika Srpska.
“We must show that we will not allow such violence and desecration of democracy in Republika Srpska, as imposed by illegal foreigners who have no legal right or basis to do what they are doing to us,” Medić emphasized.
According to him, these foreign decisions are intended to strip Republika Srpska and its people of the right to vote or to be elected.
Medić noted that this is not only about the annulment of the mandate of the president of Republika Srpska, but also about the annulment of the Constitution of Srpska.
“We must be decisive and firm. The message of the Creators of Republika Srpska is that this time we must be resolute and united, and we should hold the referendum as soon as possible and put an end to this, so that it will be known for all time that Republika Srpska is a legal, legitimate, lawful, democratic state and that no one has the right to usurp it,” Medić stressed.
He said that Republika Srpska has the capacity to defend itself, adding that the Creators of Republika Srpska are calling on all parliamentary and non-parliamentary parties to be united this time.
“This is the moment when we must say that enough is enough of tyranny over the Serb people. We have suffered enough and have only just matured to be able to live normally. We are not taking anything from anyone, but we must safeguard what is ours,” Medić said.
