Drama in Srebrenica: Drunk man played music near church and insulted, then attacked police

Archimandrite of the Serb Orthodox Church and head of the Karno Luka Monastery, Babić, reported last night that unknown individuals near the church were playing loud music and provoking, which escalated into a serious incident when the suspect attacked a police officer who responded to the scene, Provjereno has learned.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found three individuals. According to information, at one point Ramiz Krdžić (1971) from Gradačac, visibly intoxicated, began cursing and shouting, refusing to comply with police orders, and physically attacked police officer Milutin Jovanović, directing offensive words such as “I’m not afraid of you, priest” and “F*** you, priest, and your nuns, and you won’t be giving orders here.”

He was arrested shortly after 3:30 a.m. The police subdued him using physical force and a baton.

Further testing revealed a blood alcohol level of 2.04 g/kg.

It is reported that in this incident, officer Jovanović suffered a cut on the thumb of his right hand, neck pain, and swelling on his right upper arm.
