Prnjavor MeridianBet is the champion of the Nikšićko Beer3x3 Cup of Republika Srpska – MozartBet tournament held in Modriča.
Petar Trivićević, Mirza Todorovac, Njegoš Novaković, and Srđan Gavrić triumphed in the final with a 21:17 victory over the team Banjalučki 3×3, which consisted of Vanja Samaržić, Andrej Mikeš, Boben Velağa, and Ognjen Bilanović.
“It’s a phenomenal feeling to be the winner of the 3×3 Cup. I would like to congratulate my teammates on their great play, but also the opponent for their fair and respectful play,” said Todorovac, a member of the champion team, adding that they now expect the final league tournament.
The MVP of the tournament was Srđan Gavrić.
Third place was claimed by Modriča Medic Plus, consisting of Nikša Milunović, Aleksandar Ivitić, Srđan Tešić, and Viktor Blagovčanin.
Fourth place went to the 3×3 Banjaluka team, which included Marko Blaz, Milan Davidović, Andrej Bojanić, and Dejan Lazić.
On Sunday, the final league tournament will take place in Banja Luka at the Trg Krajine, with the winner securing a spot at the “SBA PRO TOUR QUEST” in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Quest champion will earn a slot for the Masters in Shanghai.
The 3×3 Republika Srpska has once again received support from the office of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, as well as from the Basketball Federation of Republika Srpska.
