In the City Park in Gradiška, right on the banks of the Sava River, this year’s edition of the “Wine Park” event brought together 40 wine exhibitors from North Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Numerous visitors enjoyed tastings of premium wines from renowned wineries across the region.
Snježana Gvozden, director of the Gradiška Tourist Organization, emphasized the importance of such events, noting that in addition to promoting wine and gastronomy, they also foster connections among people.
“We are proud of this event because it brings the region together. Every year, new exhibitors join us, which speaks to its growth and significance,” Gvozden highlighted.
Among the wineries participating for the first time was the “Perak” winery from Kutjevo.
“This is our first time in Gradiška, and we are thrilled. The atmosphere is perfect, and we already know we’ll be back next year,” said Ivan Perak. He added that the “Perak” winery was founded in 2011 and that most of its production—70% of which is Graševina—is sold on the Croatian market.
Also showcasing its products was the “Pajić” winery from Brčko.
Their representative, Katarina Kašanski, stated that they have participated in the “Wine Park” in previous years and have fond memories of the event.
“We mainly offer dry wines, and we recently launched the production of gin and brandy,” Kašanski added.
According to the organizers, the “Wine Park” once again demonstrated that Gradiška—although not a traditional wine region—can be an excellent host to a large number of wineries and wine enthusiasts.
