In the first six months of this year, Republika Srpska achieved a total foreign trade volume of $3.5 billion, with export coverage of imports standing at 71.1%, according to data from the Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics.
Exports amounted to approximately $1.45 billion in the first half of the year, marking a 7.5% increase compared to the same period last year.
Imports during the first half of 2025 totaled $2.05 billion, which is 4.5% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The largest volume of foreign trade was recorded with Serbia, totaling around $610 million.
Italy followed with a trade volume of $430.5 million, while trade with Croatia exceeded $390 million.
By economic groupings, Republika Srpska recorded exports of $1.03 billion to EU countries, representing a 5.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
Imports from EU countries in the first half of the year stood at approximately $1.149 billion, showing a slight decrease of 0.2% compared to the same period last year.
