Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Aleksandar Goganović, met in Belgrade with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador to Serbia, Aleksandar Vranješ, to discuss global geopolitical shifts and their impact on Serbia, BiH, and the broader region.
The two officials agreed that, for the first time in modern history, the Serb people on both sides of the Drina River are facing major geopolitical changes not as passive subjects of foreign decisions, but as a politically prepared and strategically focused actor.
Goganović and Vranješ emphasized that the political foresight and coordinated diplomatic activity of the leadership in Serbia and Republika Srpska have enabled the Serb people to anticipate new global processes, while many others are still adapting to the emerging balance of power.
They noted that relations between Republika Srpska and the Republic of Serbia are at their highest level in recent decades, thanks to responsible policies and the close cooperation between President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
The meeting concluded with the message that a stable Serbia is a pillar of peace and security in this part of Europe.
