Vinko Marinović has been appointed as the new head coach of Football Club Borac Banja Luka, with the official presentation expected on Monday, July 21.
This marks Marinović’s third tenure at the helm of Borac, which he left just over a year ago after winning the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina title. The news was confirmed to ATV.
Since then, Marinović served as the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team. In his coaching career in the BiH Premier League, he has won titles with Borac, Sarajevo, and Zrinjski.
He replaces Mladen Žižović, who resigned following the club’s elimination in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
Borac will kick off the new league campaign next weekend, hosting Rudar Prijedor.
