The beauty of Sutjeska National Park is the greatest asset of OK Fest

The 11th edition of Jelen OK Fest kicks off on Friday, July 18, at Tjentište near Foča. Over three days, visitors will enjoy performances by well-known bands—including a show by American funky soul-rock diva Nik West—as well as the breathtaking nature of Sutjeska National Park.

Bands such as Dubioza Kolektiv, Let 3, Helem Nejse, Skroz, Elemental, Rambo Amadeus, and Plavi Orkestar will perform in the iconic Valley of Heroes.

For the first time, the festival welcomes the energetic Nik West. While perhaps lesser known to wider audiences, music critics emphasize that she is a global sensation, widely recognized as a protégé of the legendary Prince.

“I believe she will amaze everyone—she’s a phenomenal musician and this is her first time visiting us. The musical lineup is truly fantastic,” said OK Fest spokesperson Vanja Mišić.

The OK Camp, set in the greenery by the Sutjeska River and near the large pool at Tjentište, opens on Thursday, July 17—one day before the official start of the festival.

Organizers note that many visitors return year after year, and this edition will also welcome many young people experiencing the festival for the first time.

“Over the past 11 years, we’ve seen everything—from teens attending their first-ever festival to seasoned festivalgoers who’ve been to many across the region but always come back to this one. Families come with children, and when you see that, you know this is the right place. Nature and everything that Sutjeska National Park offers is what sets this festival apart from all the others,” said Mišić.

Once again, organizers expect guests from all over the world.

“We’re always surprised by visitors from new countries. We’re curious how they heard about OK Fest. Sutjeska National Park is the festival’s greatest asset—the elevation, the fresh air, and the surrounding mountain peaks. I truly believe there’s nothing like it anywhere else in the region,” Mišić added.

The festival also includes an open-air cinema and the Book Zone, which will present two music-related titles: “Brkovi – Greatest Hits / Lyrics and Chords” by Šemso 69 and “Bjessovi” by Zoran Marinković.

Information about festival passes and ticket packages with organized transport is available on the official festival website.
