The Serb member and Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, stated for SRNA that the politicization and lack of even minimal respect for the victims—regularly propagated by the Bosniak member of the Presidency, Denis Bećirović—is shameful.
When asked by SRNA to comment on the accusations Bećirović made against Republika Srpska, Serbia, their highest officials, and the Serb people at the gathering in Potočari, Cvijanović replied that Bećirović has once again proven to be an inciter of hatred, a politician of division, and a man of the past—not the future.
“He never misses an opportunity to demonstrate his hatred toward everything Serb, persistently directing his attacks at the highest officials of Serbia and Republika Srpska, who, in turn, represent the majority will of the Serb people,” Cvijanović emphasized.
Regardless of the position he has held, Cvijanović said, he has never been heard speaking about anything constructive or beneficial, or anything directed toward the future.
“It’s always false accusations against others, endless gossip about President Aleksandar Vučić and Milorad Dodik, hallucinations about ‘Greater Serbia,’ alleged threats to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and numerous other destructive and fabricated topics used to justify the anti-Dayton ‘Schmidtocracy’ and unconstitutional Bosniak hegemony in BiH. To Bećirović’s detriment, the more he talks about it, the fewer people in the world are able to digest his malicious anti-Serb fabrications, while in Republika Srpska, caution continues to grow,” Cvijanović concluded.
