Following confirmation from British media that the UK government is considering opening migrant centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it has become increasingly clear—according to the SNSD—that Republika Srpska was right in warning for years that there is a plan to turn BiH into a dumping ground for people the West does not want. These claims were also addressed by SNSD delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Radovan Kovačević.
Appearing last night on our show Drugi ugao, Kovačević showed an article in which the BBC reported that Britain plans to deport “asylum seekers” from Iran and Somalia—considered a security threat—to BiH.
— This is being negotiated by our opposition, to send those people to BiH, that is, to Republika Srpska — Kovačević said, commenting on the BBC article.
SNSD Reacts Strongly
SNSD also issued a strong response, stating in a press release that it remains consistent in defending the interests of the Serb people and Republika Srpska, and will not allow Srpska to be turned into a migrant zone. The party declared it would not remain silent while PDP, SDS, and the Justice and Order List attempt to carry out plans contrary to the people’s interests under the guise of false stability and international support.
However, the party warned, the greater danger lies in the apparent involvement of domestic accomplices—not just anyone.
— PDP, SDS, and the Justice and Order List have for months been running a ruthless campaign to seize power in Sarajevo through backroom deals and with the help of Dino Konaković, bypassing the will of the Serb people. In this attempt to attain power without elections, they are apparently willing to remain silent about the most dangerous matters—and even participate in them.
Every additional day they spend making deals with Dino Konaković is a day invested in the attempt to settle Muslim migrants, rejected by London, in place of Serb schools and hospitals. And all of that as useful idiots of the British government, which doesn’t know how to deal with the migration chaos it created—so it tries to export it here to us,” the statement reads.
Unlike them, SNSD made its position clear: there is no consent—nor will there ever be consent—from Republika Srpska to forcibly settle individuals rejected by the United Kingdom on its territory.
— Not because of their religion, but because they come from extremely unstable areas, pose serious security risks, and threaten both the demographic and security situation in Republika Srpska — SNSD emphasized.
If Dino Konaković wants to build migrant camps, SNSD says, he can build them in Sarajevo—but not in Republika Srpska, and certainly not with the help of those who claim to represent Serbs politically while acting directly on the orders of foreign embassies,” the SNSD press release concludes.
