President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik sent a telegram of condolence to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, following the attacks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
“With immense sorrow and sincere regret, I received the news of the tragic loss of lives in the attacks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. On behalf of the citizens of Republika Srpska and in my own name, I extend to you my deepest condolences.
In these difficult moments, we deeply sympathize with the families of the innocent civilian victims and with the entire brotherly people of the Russian Federation, with the hope that the injured will recover as soon as possible,” stated the telegram of condolence from the President of Republika Srpska.
Seven people were killed and 71 injured, including three children, after an overpass collapsed onto a passenger train heading to Moscow near the Russian city of Bryansk.
During the night, a bridge collapsed on the 48th kilometer of the Trosna-Kalinovka highway in the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk region while a freight locomotive was crossing.
