The GovTech and Public Sector Innovation Global Forum was held at the World Bank headquarters in Washington on May 27 and 28, bringing together experts and professionals from the public sector, academia, and industry from over 120 countries.
“One of the largest globally recognized conferences was held in Washington, gathering participants from more than 120 countries. It was an honor for us to take part,” said Duško Barić, Deputy Director of the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies of Republika Srpska.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska presented its activities at the conference.
“It is important to note that Republika Srpska was the only one with an official representative—there was no one present from the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina or the Federation of BiH. Only Srpska had a representative,” stated Barić, adding that the activities of the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies were presented, along with the achievements of Republika Srpska.
The conference focused on artificial intelligence.
“We presented our perspective, our view on the topic. Our agency follows global trends and moves in step with them,” said Barić during RTRS’s Morning Program.
