The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, laid flowers at the Mourning Mother memorial in the Victory Museum in Moscow.

At the entrance to the Museum, President Dodik was welcomed by the General Director of the Victory Museum, Alexander Shkolnik.

Among the many international representatives was also the Ambassador of Israel to Russia, Simona Halperin, who stood alongside the President of Republika Srpska in the front row.

Joining President Dodik was Chen Wenqing, member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and one of the most influential figures in China’s political leadership.

“I had the opportunity to lay flowers at the memorial together with the second most powerful man in the Chinese state,” Dodik stated on this occasion, referring to Wenqing.

Dodik and Wenqing held talks prior to the wreath-laying ceremony.

The formal ceremony was led by the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu.

The Victory Museum in Moscow is Russia’s main museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and is part of a major historical park complex. The complex includes multiple facilities, such as an exhibition center, amphitheater, and the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
