The International Conference of High Representatives for Security Issues is currently underway in Moscow. The event has gathered participants from over 100 countries, and the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is scheduled to be the first foreign speaker to address the Plenary Session.
Among the flags of all participating countries, the flag of Republika Srpska is also on display.
In a video address, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the conference participants that a new security architecture must be based on equality and indivisibility.
“In building joint efforts in the field of security, we must rely on historical experience and lessons from the past,” Putin stated.
Dodik had earlier emphasized the importance of Republika Srpska’s participation in this forum and the need for its voice to be heard. He will brief the participants on the political and security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans.
A bilateral meeting between Dodik and the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, is also scheduled.
Dodik noted that he will inform Shoigu, as well as other key officials from China and Arab countries, about the West’s approach to the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
