A new global balance of power is emerging, and the collective West can no longer impose its rules, said the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, at the International Conference of High Representatives for Security Issues in Moscow.
“Today, it is evident that the collective West no longer has the strength to dictate its rules,” Dodik stated.
He emphasized that since the fall of the Berlin Wall, the West has claimed the principle of security solely for itself.
“They have not respected the security of the rest of the world and have acted only according to their own principles. However, today, they are no longer the key global player,” said Dodik.
He noted that a new balance of power is being formed.
“This is a familiar concept, but what is new is that it is now happening on a global level. For the first time, the West is merely one pillar of power. The BRICS countries have started creating this balance, and a new security system is emerging,” Dodik stated.
He underlined that BRICS nations respect the sovereignty of all countries, regardless of their size.
“Republika Srpska is a neutral entity, and that bothers the West,” Dodik added.
He stated that Russia is a leading global power.
“Through its special military operation, Russia is not only curbing NATO’s expansion but is also creating a free world,” said Dodik.
Dodik also referred to the status of Christian Schmidt.
“He is not the High Representative; he represents yet another dark chapter of German history in the Balkans,” Dodik asserted.
He reminded participants that the Serbs have endured two bombings.
“NATO used depleted uranium, and today, children in our region are born with serious illnesses,” Dodik said.
The President of Republika Srpska stressed that without equal security, there can be no international law, which means the world is heading toward chaos.
“Russia, through its special military operation, is protecting both itself and international law, and is fighting against a system being imposed on us. The victory of Donald Trump in the U.S. elections will also contribute to a more balanced world order. Republika Srpska supports and values China’s policy of non-interference in the affairs of other countries,” Dodik concluded.
