President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik emphasized that he is proposing a dialogue between the signatories of the Dayton Agreement to determine whether Bosnia and Herzegovina has a future.
Dodik reiterated that he proposes a structured, time-limited dialogue between the signatories of the Dayton Peace Agreement—Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina—as well as the three constituent peoples, Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, to confirm whether Bosnia and Herzegovina has a chance or not.
“A dialogue that is not conducted through decrees, but with the mediation of constructive diplomacy. A dialogue that is not held in secret, but in full transparency,” Dodik recalled in a post on X, referencing his recent speech at the special session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau stated during a speech on Bosnia and Herzegovina at the NATO meeting in Dayton that agreements must be respected, that the U.S. is willing to work with all parties in BiH, and that it wants to offer support.
