Staša Košarac, Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers, stated today that members of the Serb people and representatives of Republika Srpska in joint institutions will never accept Bosniak political deceptions. He emphasized that as long as SNSD representatives sit in the Council of Ministers, the report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs—which includes the adoption of the controversial and shameful Srebrenica Resolution—will not be supported.
Košarac explained that at the previous session of the Council of Ministers, institutional reports for the past year were not adopted because Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković refused to remove from the Ministry’s report the section referring to the adoption of the disputed Srebrenica Resolution. According to Košarac, this resolution does not reflect the official position of BiH and is instead the result of unilateral, unconstitutional, and unlawful actions by the Bosniak political bloc.
He told SRNA that he insisted on the removal of that section because it is absolutely unacceptable.
According to him, the disputed resolution was never approved by the competent institutions, nor was it subject to discussion.
“It does not represent the position of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but rather stems from unilateral, unconstitutional, and illegal actions by the Bosniak political factor,” Košarac emphasized.
He added that this is a policy of deception, lies, and falsification, which characterizes Bosniak political elites.
Košarac stated that Serb representatives in the joint institutions will never accept such political trickery, and reiterated that as long as SNSD personnel remain in the Council of Ministers, such a report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not receive support.
“We will never give the green light for it! And Konaković and his team can wait all they want for their ‘Troika’ colleagues from Republika Srpska who eagerly offer themselves in hopes of gaining consent for this kind of report,” Košarac stated.
He noted that Bosniak politicians have been repeatedly warned that they will have to bear responsibility for the scandalous and unacceptable Srebrenica Resolution, but they chose not to listen because their goal has been to continue pursuing policies based on lies and manipulation—intended to harm Republika Srpska.
“They will never succeed in that!” Košarac concluded.
