Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Republika Srpska, Alen Šeranić, together with the Ambassador of BiH to the UN and other international organizations, Bojan Vujić, is attending the 78th World Health Organization Assembly, held in Geneva from May 19 to 27, 2025.
The session is being held under the theme “One World for Health.”
This assembly is the highest decision-making body of the World Health Organization, responsible for setting policies, appointing the Director-General, overseeing financial matters, and approving the budget.
On this occasion, Šeranić also met with Dr. Hans Kluge, Director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, who recently renewed his mandate in this important role.
During the meeting, Šeranić thanked the WHO representatives for their longstanding support of the healthcare system of Republika Srpska, as well as for mutual understanding and respect, and expressed hope that the cooperation will continue to grow in the future.
