Security expert Dževad Galijašević claims that Zukan Helez, Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, is constructing structures akin to Hamas and Hezbollah within the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, aiming to turn them into a Muslim army.
According to Galijašević, Helez is working to divide the Armed Forces of BiH by implementing a long-standing Bosniak political agenda from the 1990s that sought to create parallel structures.
“This includes paramilitary, parapolitical, para-intelligence, and para-Islamic structures,” Galijašević told SRNA.
He added that this also involves Wahhabism, which he describes as a pseudo-religious, para-Islamic ideology. He claims Helez supports this movement by allowing its members to conduct live-fire exercises on military training grounds belonging to the Armed Forces of BiH.
“Why are Wahhabis training with firearms in BiH, just as they do in Syria, Iraq, and Libya?” Galijašević asked, explaining that such training is meant to prepare them for armed conflict and terrorist activities.
He claimed that several days ago in Mostar, five Wahhabi adherents—not just one—were detained for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, though the charges were classified merely as causing general danger.
“As if it were a case of floods or natural disasters—an offense of negligence. But this is intentional: an organized, militant, radical religious movement, with its own network and operatives, who are training to shoot,” Galijašević said.
He added that the suspects were training on a military range belonging to the Armed Forces of BiH, located in a wooded area near Mostar.
“That access was enabled by Helez, who is building Hamas and Hezbollah within the Armed Forces of BiH,” Galijašević asserted, recalling that both the SDA and SDP have historically supported parallel structures.
He also pointed out that even Serb generals recently wrote a letter warning that Helez is working to divide the Armed Forces of BiH.
According to Galijašević, Wahhabis are also organizing training near Sanski Most, Bužim, and in the areas surrounding Dubnica and Maoča, as well as in many Wahhabi-influenced neighborhoods such as Ilidža and Igman.
“These Wahhabis are being commanded from Syria by Nusret Imamović, who currently leads a Muslim armed formation in Syria called the ‘Saudi al-Mali Network,’” Galijašević stated.
He highlighted that around 10,000 individuals are under security surveillance across various structures in BiH and the wider region—“a serious army for a serious war,” he warned.
“This is a global-type army, supported by Helez, who is inserting them into the Armed Forces in order to divide and control them as a Muslim army,” Galijašević concluded.
Milorad Kojić, SNSD representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, stated yesterday that allowing individuals linked to the Wahhabi movement to conduct exercises at Armed Forces facilities represents a serious security threat—deliberately orchestrated to instill fear among the Serb people, who have already suffered under Wahhabi violence.
Kojić added that this contributes to the creation of a wartime atmosphere in BiH, noting that even the majority of Bosniaks are wary of Wahhabis.
