President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik condemned the actions of NATO member states, asserting that their reckless interference in the affairs of other countries will ultimately backfire.
“As far as NATO is concerned, we Serbs have long perceived it as a militaristic and deeply cynical alliance that interferes with the sovereignty of other nations,” Dodik stated in an interview with TASS.
The President of Republika Srpska reminded that NATO bombed Serbia without UN approval, while at the same time naming its mission “Merciful Angel.”
Dodik emphasized that such blatant hypocrisy inevitably carries consequences, suggesting that this cynicism will ultimately undermine the Alliance’s future.
“It is hard to imagine how NATO can survive in the long term,” Dodik declared.
He also pointed out that even French President Emmanuel Macron said a few years ago that NATO, as an alliance, was brain-dead.
“Europe is creating its own security system and is trying to build good relations with both Russia and the United States,” Dodik said.
