Poland will ban the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, from entering its territory, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, according to Reuters.
With this decision, Poland joins Germany and Austria, which have already imposed entry bans on Dodik.
“A procedure has been initiated regarding the entry ban for Milorad Dodik into the country. The process is ongoing and will be finalized in a few days,” the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in an email, as reported by the British agency.
No reasons or explanations for the decision were provided.
In early April, Germany and Austria imposed entry bans on Dodik. The same measure was also applied to the Speaker of the National Assembly of Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, and Prime Minister Radovan Višković.
