Dodik: Schmidt is an adventurer leading the country to collapse

Christian Schmidt is an adventurer who is leading BiH to collapse, said SNSD leader and President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

He stated that a successful meeting of the parliamentary majority in Srpska was held today.

Dodik said that Schmidt is violating the budgetary system.

“This coalition will, on May 15, abolish the Law on the Financing of BiH, and it will no longer be valid on the territory of Republika Srpska,” Dodik declared.

Dodik emphasized that Schmidt is illegal and called him a tourist.

“He is instrumentalizing the court and the prosecutor’s office. We have made the decision that all unconstitutional institutions will cease operating in the territory of Srpska. Everything that is unlawful cannot become lawful,” Dodik stated.

He said that these institutions have no constitutional legitimacy.

Dodik also commented on the statements by SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović regarding a unitary BiH and the Brčko District.

“Muslims in BiH have accepted Schmidt’s impositions because they suit them. This is their second half, preparing for revenge. But the historical fact is that Muslims are converts who betrayed their original faith,” Dodik said.

He added that he believes it is time for Bosniaks to return to their true faith.

“And then Serbs would be the majority in BiH, and only then could BiH be unitary. That would be fair — for them to return to their original faith. But I think that BiH as a country has no future,” Dodik stated.

He also said that Brčko should remain peaceful.

“Stop talking about Brčko, it has been resolved through the Arbitration Award. There are no problems in Brčko’s functioning, Republika Srpska has invested in Brčko and will continue to do so. So, this old trick by Izetbegović claiming they have no access to the Sava River is just that — a trick. Tell me, who from Sarajevo goes to Croatia through Brčko?” Dodik concluded.
