Another victory for Borac against Sloga

The footballers of Borac Banja Luka defeated Sloga from Doboj with a score of 3:1 (0:1) in the final match of the 28th round of the BiH Premier League.

The match did not start well for the Banja Luka side.

In the 23rd minute, Sloga scored and shocked the spectators at the City Stadium.

Kvržić made a mistake trying to dribble past Dejanović, who stole the ball and scored a brilliant goal from 17–18 meters.

The scoreboard showed 0:1.

Until halftime, Borac missed several excellent chances but without seriously threatening the goalkeeper from Doboj.

At the start of the second half, with greater engagement, Borac equalized under the leadership of coach Mladen Žižović, 1:1.

In the 47th minute, a corner was taken from the left side, and after a deflection off Milanović, Nikola Pejović scored for Borac.

Then came the 57th minute — the moment many red-blue fans had been waiting for.

Čavić played a ball on the left side to Herrera, who crossed it in, Despotović touched the ball, and it reached Kulašin, who finished the action by putting the ball into the net, completing the turnaround at the City Stadium, 2:1.

Another goal for Borac came in the 61st minute, when substitute Vranješ scored for 3:1.

Hiroš played a great ball to Vranješ, who chipped it over Erić.

It was Stojan Vranješ’s tenth goal this season in the Borac jersey.

With this victory, Borac is back in the title race, trailing the first-placed Zrinjski by just one point.

Zrinjski leads with 70 points, Borac has 69, while Sarajevo is third with 57 points.

In the next round, Borac will visit Široki Brijeg on Saturday, May 3, while Sloga will host Sarajevo on the same day.
