Dodik: Gratitude to Serbs from the region for their support and understanding

President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that Republika Srpska is honored to host the highly important 21st Conference of Serb National Organizations from the region today in Banja Luka, expressing his gratitude to Serbs from across the region for their support and understanding.

“This conference should receive much greater attention, both in the media and from the institutions of Republika Srpska and Serbia. The world today is faced with numerous restrictions on national and political gatherings, which is particularly evident in Bosnia and Herzegovina. What’s important to highlight is that this is the first forum bringing together Serbs—as representatives of one people—from various countries and regions. This is a victory over the imposed rhetoric claiming there are Bosnian, Croatian, Slovenian, Romanian, Montenegrin, Kosovan, or Macedonian Serbs,” said Dodik.

He emphasized that there exists one united Serb nation, and that this association is the best expression of that unity—something that will be clearly reflected in the declaration to be adopted at the conference.

Dodik expressed his gratitude to people from the region for their consistent and systematic support and understanding of current developments.

According to him, many within Bosnia and Herzegovina do not fully grasp what is happening, while Serbs from the region are well aware of the situation—especially regarding issues of political status and statehood in Republika Srpska.

“That’s why I am grateful to all participants, and I believe this is one of the most important events we are organizing this year. My thanks also go to the Association of the Founders of Republika Srpska, which is hosting this event and remains a vital support in everything they do,” Dodik concluded.
