“Our police officers were doing their job—whether I was present or not. Three individuals appeared claiming to be SIPA inspectors, but they did not present any identification. When they said they had a warrant, the officers told them this was not the place for them to act,” said Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, commenting on the attempted delivery of an arrest warrant by SIPA agents last night.
Dodik stated that this situation harms the very concept of Bosnia and Herzegovina the most.
“You can interpret it however you want from the Federation of BiH, but it is not in the Serb nature to surrender. You will not arrest us. What kind of approach is this—suddenly launching legal proceedings against the president of an entity? We are entering a serious crisis. Do I look like a fugitive to you? This so-called fugitive is right here. I’m traveling to Moscow. I flee—and always return,” Dodik said.
