The 19th edition of the international cycling race Belgrade–Banja Luka has officially begun. The starting signal was given by the Mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Šapić.
At noon, the first stage — a 100-kilometer route from Belgrade to Požarevac — got underway. The final stage is scheduled for Saturday, covering the route from Doboj to Banja Luka.
This year’s race features 175 competitors from 25 teams representing 30 countries.
