Dodik: Republika Srpska is stable

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that Republika Srpska is stable and that there is no factor that could threaten its security.

“We respect the Constitution and have made it clear that this is the goal we promote through our institutions,” Dodik added.

He emphasized that any biased approach favoring the Bosniak side does not contribute to mutual understanding and can only deepen the existing tensions.

“I am proud of our people who demonstrate a high level of patriotism. They live far from the homeland, but have never stopped loving it and continue to contribute in their own ways,” Dodik noted.

He stressed the importance of organizing associations that bring together the Serb national community in the diaspora.

“We respect Austria, even though we disagreed on some internal matters. Today, we received support for our efforts to ensure that Republika Srpska functions properly. Serbs will know how to support political structures in Austria, and this will become increasingly evident in the coming period,” said Dodik.

He expressed his expectation that Austria will maintain a neutral stance toward Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We expect a neutral position that allows room for cooperation. Any biased political approach in Bosnia and Herzegovina—such as those in previous years that favored the Bosniak side—does not help foster greater understanding and may further complicate relations,” Dodik said after meeting with a delegation of entrepreneurs and Serbs active in Serb associations from Austria, as well as a delegation from Serbia.

He thanked the Austrian people for enabling Serbs to realize their business and personal goals.

“I believe that this will continue, in peace and cooperation with others,” Dodik concluded.
