Minić: The political crisis in BiH is a consequence of legal injustice

The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, stated that the resignation of Dubravko Čampara, a prosecutor from the unconstitutional Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, is a consequence of the developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized that those who took part in the political persecution of Republika Srpska officials, despite having serious legal careers behind them, should not be part of such actions.

“This has long since moved beyond the domain of law, and the political crisis in BiH is precisely a result of legal injustice,” Minić told reporters in Banja Luka.

He reiterated that the crisis was caused by the decision of an unappointed foreigner to amend the Criminal Code of BiH, even though only the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH has the authority to do so.

“He amended it three times and defined the criminal act in such broad terms that it is now being used against all of us,” Minić said.

Čampara had previously confirmed to SRNA that he submitted his resignation to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH, which will take effect on May 1.

He worked in the unconstitutional Prosecutor’s Office of BiH for the past 16 years and was previously a prosecutor in the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office.
