International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament “Banjaluka 2025”

The Jiu-Jitsu Club Minotaur will serve as the technical organizer of the 17th International Tournament “Banjaluka 2025,” which will take place on Saturday at the “Borik” sports hall, starting at 9:30 AM.

“This will be the largest tournament to date, with competitions held in all age categories. A total of 602 competitors from 27 clubs and ten countries will participate: Belgium, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Republika Srpska/Bosnia and Herzegovina. Many of them are medalists from major European and world championships,” emphasized Nebojša Babić, President of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Republika Srpska.

Minotaur’s sports director Milan Savičić highlighted that organizing such a large competition in just one day requires extensive preparations.

“The matches will take place on five mats, and medal winners in all age and weight categories will receive medals and diplomas. Special awards will also be presented to the best individual athletes in each age category,” said Savičić.
