The wheelchair basketball club KKI Vrbas defeated Sana in Sanski Most with a score of 73:60 (16:14, 19:19, 18:14, 20:13) in the seventh round of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League.
With this victory, the team from Banja Luka maintained their perfect record and can already start chilling the champagne.
They have three games left in the season and need just one more win to secure the championship title, which would be their 11th.
The duel in Sanski Most was a tough and competitive match. The visitors led for most of the game, although the home team managed to come back and even took the lead on three occasions.
Everything was decided in the final quarter, and in the end, KKI Vrbas claimed a well-deserved 73:60 victory. The standout performance came from Vlado Švraka, who scored 38 points (including one three-pointer), while Nenad Ritan contributed 10 points with only one missed shot.
For the home team, Nermin Hujić and Vahid Omeradžić led the scoring with 24 points each.
