In the USA, Le Pen’s verdict compared to Schmidt’s prosecution of the president of Republika Srpska

In the USA, Le Pen’s verdict compared to Schmidt’s prosecution of the president of Republika Srpska

“Donald Trump will win in America, Marine Le Pen will prevail in France, Călin Georgescu in Romania, and I will continue to win in Republika Srpska,” said President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, thanking American politician of Serb origin, Rod Blagojević, who compared Le Pen’s court sentence to what he described as the politically motivated persecution of Dodik by the “leftist high representative” in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From Hungary came a clear message that Milorad Dodik is a friend of the country and that it is unacceptable to use legal means to prevent legitimately elected representatives of the people from performing their duties.

Liberal democracy in Europe is spiraling into totalitarianism. The first round of the presidential elections in Romania was annulled because Brussels deemed Călin Georgescu “too close to Russia”; the president of Republika Srpska has been sentenced for not recognizing Christian Schmidt; Viktor Orbán is being targeted in the streets; Germany’s AfD is not allowed to win; and Marine Le Pen is being blocked from running in France.

“What they’re doing to Le Pen in France, the leftist ‘high representative’ is doing to Dodik—the pro-Trump, pro-Israel, duly elected president of Republika Srpska,” said Rod Blagojević, American politician and former governor of Illinois.

“When they can’t defeat you in elections,” Dodik stated, “they try to destroy you in the courts.”

“That’s something Trump, Le Pen, and many others have come to understand. Those of us who refused to serve USAID and NED money and chose instead to serve our country, our faith, and our people—we are the targets today. But these are the blows of defeated elites. And they will be their last,” Dodik declared.

The verdict against Marine Le Pen has echoed across the Atlantic. Elon Musk, a key ally of U.S. President Donald Trump, said it is an abuse of the judicial system used to eliminate political opponents—something Le Pen herself has also confirmed.

“She expressed strong disapproval of the verdict, calling it a politically motivated process, an attempt to discredit her and block her candidacy in the next presidential election, and a defeat for democracy in France,” recalled Bojana Kondić Panić, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s ambassador to France.

The crackdown on sovereignist forces in Europe is distancing the new American administration from the official policies of Brussels—on Ukraine, illegal migration, and family values. Yet the “blunders” of Biden’s administration remain. They brought in Christian Schmidt and declared him the High Representative, which plunged Bosnia and Herzegovina into its greatest crisis since Dayton.

“He was never confirmed by the UN Security Council. This is the same old Biden administration structure. And the swamp—this global swamp of Brussels and all its institutions—doesn’t even accept President Trump. The remnants of Biden’s administration are the ones now leading this disgraceful process against me,” Dodik stated on the show 69 Minutes on X hosted by influencer Mario Nawfal.

Dodik’s guest appearance in Nawfal’s show has been viewed by over a million users. The host shared Dodik’s message that globalists are trying to silence him.

“With a red notice, political bans, and Brussels breathing down his neck—he is not backing down,” Nawfal wrote.

In both Serbia and Hungary, there is growing awareness of the plans to remove Dodik from power.

“I remember that they tried to weaken Mr. Trump using legal mechanisms and prevent him from running in elections. Political issues should be resolved by the people—not by legal maneuvers. Mr. Milorad Dodik is a friend of Hungary, and Hungary always stands by its friends,” stated Zsolt Semjén, Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary.

Đorđe Milićević, a minister in the Government of Serbia, said that the verdict against Dodik is an attack on the autonomy of Republika Srpska and its institutions.

“This is not just about an individual or the President of Republika Srpska—this is an attack on an entire people. Of course, Serbia cannot silently watch this unfold and will stand by its people,” he added.

The sentence against the prominent French politician Marine Le Pen inevitably draws comparisons to the judicial persecution of the president of Republika Srpska. This parallel has been noted by officials in the new U.S. administration and by Republika Srpska’s European allies. Only in Sarajevo does the narrative of the “fugitive Serb” persist—one that is also accepted by the Serb opposition, which sees it as a chance to replace SNSD in the state-level government.
