The President of Republika Srpska has begun his visit to Israel. Just as Israel defends itself without apology, Republika Srpska defends its right to exist, to make decisions, and to preserve the legacy of its ancestors, said President Dodik at the start of his visit to the country.
In Jerusalem, he will participate in a two-day conference on antisemitism. The importance of this conference is reflected in the participation of the top leadership of Israel, including President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The conference, organized by the competent Israeli ministry and the Government of Israel, will be attended by several hundred participants, including officials and diplomats from the United States, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and other countries.
Tomorrow, a formal meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog will be held, while on the final plenary session the day after tomorrow, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver an address.
“Israel shows that freedom and security are priceless and that a people who know who they are—will not accept being a target or a servant. Just as Israel defends itself without apology, Republika Srpska defends its right to exist, to decide, and to preserve the legacy of its ancestors. Serbs and Jews are peoples whom others tried to erase completely—and they survived. That’s why we understand each other. And that’s why we stand together,” stated the President of Republika Srpska on X.
