The ambassador of BiH to Serbia, Aleksandar Vranješ, stated that it is very important that the Serb member and Chairwoman of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, informed the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, about the real situation in BiH and emphasized that the root of the problems lies in foreign interventionism.
“The Chairwoman stressed that the cause of the problems is foreign interventionism, thereby undermining the attempts of the Bosniak member of the Presidency, Denis Bećirović, to mislead Turkey and falsely inform them about the internal issues in BiH,” Vranješ told Srna.
He pointed out that the Turkish President Erdoğan has always advocated for internal dialogue in BiH without foreign interference and expressed confidence that he will continue to maintain that position.
During yesterday’s meeting in Istanbul, Cvijanović informed Erdoğan that BiH is facing the most serious political and constitutional crisis since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement—one that, like all previous crises, has been triggered by illegal foreign intervention in BiH.
