Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Russia insists on the immediate cessation of legal prosecution against the leadership of Republika Srpska, emphasizing that it represents “legal arbitrariness” and lawlessness.
“I have noticed how every effort is being made to remove the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, from the political scene, despite common sense, the law, morality, and ethics,” Zakharova said.
She described Dodik and his associates as true patriots of the Serb people.
“They are fighting for their rights and interests,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson stressed, adding that she believes Dodik will honorably overcome all difficulties and challenges he is facing.
