Vulin: The arrest of Dodik, Višković, and Stevandić will not be allowed

Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Republika Srpska Senator Aleksandar Vulin stated that Serbia is strong enough and that the arrest of the highest officials of Republika Srpska under orders from the unconstitutional BiH Prosecutor’s Office will not be allowed.

Vulin emphasized that Banja Luka is not Zagreb in 1941, welcoming foreign forces with flowers, but the largest city in Republika Srpska, which cannot accept that someone from the outside can come in and arrest President Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Radovan Višković, and National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić.

  • How do you think that will happen? Vulin asked, adding that this situation is not coincidental.
  • Serbia is expected to be preoccupied with street violence, protesters, and roadblocks, unable to react while its attention is diverted.

“This is revenge against Dodik and the Serbs”

Vulin described the arrest order from the unconstitutional BiH Prosecutor’s Office as a continuation of retaliation against Dodik and the Serbian people and a desperate attempt by the EU to reassert itself as a dominant power in the Balkans, after losing global relevance.

  • What the Prosecutor’s Office has done is just another step in the campaign against Milorad Dodik. This is not a trial; it is revenge—just as the Hague Tribunal was not about justice but revenge against Serbs, Vulin stated.

He argued that major powers have to resolve conflicts, even when they create them but that the EU is no longer relevant in Ukraine, the Middle East, or global geopolitics.

  • The EU is no longer a factor in Ukraine, it is irrelevant in the Middle East, China barely acknowledges its existence, Russia is dealing with the U.S., and the U.S. is focused on Russia.
  • The only thing left for the EU is to interfere in the Balkans—to interfere with us. That is why they support Albanians in stealing Serb votes in Kosovo. That is why I am deeply concerned about what is happening in Republika Srpska, Vulin told TV Pink.

Vulin: “This is a hybrid war, not a coincidence”

Vulin noted that this pressure has been ongoing for a long time and described the situation in the region as part of a broader hybrid war, coming from multiple directions.

  • The trial against Milorad Dodik, the theft of votes from Srpska Lista, sanctions, and protests in Serbia—all happening at the same time, all “coincidental.” And “coincidentally,” this is supported by Zagreb, Sarajevo, Priština, and Montenegro’s opposition. And “coincidentally,” there is growing unrest in the streets and in Serbia’s parliament, Vulin pointed out.

He warned that the escalation of tensions is being orchestrated to destabilize Republika Srpska and Serbia.
