“We could have taken all three points,” said Mladen Žižović, head coach of FK Borac, following the draw against Željezničar at Grbavica in the 21st round of the BiH Premier League.
- We can say the result is fair, although in the last 15 minutes, we had three clear chances through Savić. We could have secured the full three points. We opened the match brilliantly, took the lead from a well-organized attack, and when we needed to establish control, we failed to do so. We didn’t manage to control an aerial duel and a long ball, which led to their goal and possibly shifted the momentum in their favor. In the end, looking back, we were perhaps closer to victory and can regret the two points we dropped – Žižović emphasized.
Borac took the lead in the first minute through Ogrinec, assisted by Savić. Šošić equalized in the 12th minute.
Borac was the better team in the second half and came closer to securing a win. The Banja Luka side had several good chances, primarily through Savić, but the score remained 1-1.
Following this draw, Borac is now six points behind league leaders Zrinjski, with a game in hand.
