Prijedor: Stage and poetry performance marking International Women’s Day

At the Kozara Museum in Prijedor, the Association “Women in Art” organized a stage and poetry performance to mark International Women’s Day. Through various artistic forms, the participants expressed their creativity.

Eighty-six-year-old Džemila Huzejrović Jogić dedicated her career to healthcare, working as a nurse. She has been writing poetry for the past five years and has been a member of the “Women in Art” Association since its founding.

Students of the Prijedor Hospitality and Economics School also took part in the program.

The Association organizes a program every year for International Women’s Day and is also celebrating 15 years since its establishment this year.

The Association’s vision is to popularize art among younger generations, providing an artistic and educational influence on their growth and personal development.

It has around twenty active members, and over the years, through various programs and workshops—especially in puppetry—hundreds of Prijedor residents of all generations have participated.
