The photo exhibition Paths of Life by author Biljana Latinović has been officially opened in Prnjavor.
The exhibition is organized as part of the celebrations for March 24, the Day of the City.
For her first solo exhibition, Paths of Life, Biljana Latinović selected 40 black-and-white photographs depicting life and everyday moments, taken over the past ten years.
“The most important aspect and goal of this exhibition is its humanitarian character. Contributions are voluntary, and all proceeds will be donated to the ‘Neven’ association from Prnjavor,” said Biljana Latinović.
The people of Prnjavor have praised the exhibition, noting that the photographs depict real life.
Photography is about capturing the moment, giving it significance and form, and Biljana excels in this, explained a professor of photography at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka.
“Her amateur work is on par with professional photography. She has an excellent command of technique and the ability to recognize the perfect photographic moment,” said Drago Vejnović, a professor at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka.
The Paths of Life exhibition is part of the official calendar of events for the celebration of March 24, the Day of the City.
“Knowing that she does this professionally, we included it in the city’s event calendar,” said Darko Tomaš, Mayor of Prnjavor.
Latinović has twice been listed among Serbia’s top 10 photographers and has been awarded the title of First-Class Amateur Photographer by the Photo Association of Serbia.
