The Kozara Museum in Prijedor has officially opened the exhibition “Erotikon II – The Autonomy of the State,” featuring a series of drawings on paper by Miša Filipovac. The artist explores two central themes—dystopia and utopia—through his unique visual language.
This marks the first exhibition of the year chosen through a public competition. Although Filipovac was not present at the opening, the museum’s curator, Aleksa Milić, highlighted the significance of his work and its monumental artistic expression.
“Filipovac belongs to a younger generation of artists, yet this is already his 27th solo exhibition. However, he has participated in nearly 200 group exhibitions. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac, where he also completed his undergraduate and master’s studies. This exhibition features about twenty medium-format works, but they possess a monumental quality in their composition and refined artistic language, giving them a striking visual impact,” Milić explained.
The “Erotikon II” exhibition will remain open until March 21 at the Kozara Museum in Prijedor.
