Runić: Dismissal of the case against the president of Republika Srpska is crucial for regional stability

The dismissal of the case against the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be the only correct decision. Otherwise, it will lead to political and economic destabilization of the region, stated Dušica Runić, mayor of Drvar, in a statement to SRNA.

Runić explained that dropping the case is in the best interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s future and the preservation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

“The current concept of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with its political center in Bosniak Sarajevo and a judiciary serving as its extended arm, is killing democracy,” Runić stated.

According to her, certain international actors, particularly German and American politicians who openly express anti-Serb views, are attempting to turn Bosnia and Herzegovina into their colony, without considering the consequences of their decisions on the population.

“The politically motivated case against the democratically elected president of Republika Srpska can bring nothing good to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that is why dismissing the case is the only correct course of action,” Runić emphasized.

Tomorrow, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hear the closing arguments in the case against the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić, for allegedly disregarding the decision of Christian Schmidt.
